Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Pharmacist located in Bowmanville, ON. The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing expert advice on prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards. The role also involves offering health and wellness consultations, managing inventory and operations, and supporting the professional growth of pharmacy staff. Maintaining a high standard of customer service and patient care is a key responsibility of this position.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist and in good standing with the provincial regulatory body
• Proficiency in dispensing medications, drug utilization review, and prescription verification
• Experience in delivering medication counseling and health-related guidance to patients
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
• Ability to manage inventory and ensure compliance with company and legal requirements
• Capability to mentor and support pharmacy team members, fostering a collaborative work environment
• Proficiency in using pharmacy management software is an asset
