Iris's leading financial client is looking for Core Java Developer with GraphQL to join their team at Toronto, ON(Hybrid) location.

Job Title: Java Developer with GraphQL

Location: Toronto, ON(Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Develop, optimize, and manage GraphQL APIs for efficient data querying and manipulation by client applications.
  • Extensive experience in designing, developing, and consuming GraphQL APIs.
  • Solid understanding of GraphQL schema design, query language, and best practices.
  • Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Design and optimize RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integrations
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices
  • Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and uphold engineering excellence
