With strategically placed manufacturing locations in Ancaster, ON, Montreal, QC, Leduc, AB and Wetaskiwin, AB, Vulcraft Canada is able to successfully serve our customers throughout the Canadian market. BASIC FUNCTIONS:• Weld assemble according to M.I.G process.• Use of oxygen/acetylene torch and M.I.G welder.• Be able to work accurately with both metric and imperial systems, know how to interpret drawings, including welding symbols.• Ensure quality standards.• Accurately measure and mark equipment for assembly/cutting/welding according to plans.• Know how to work with different tools such as a hand sander and other hand/power tools.• Operate in a manner that reduces material losses and optimizes production.• Work as a member of a team, together with teammates, to achieve production goals.• Communicate information during shift changes to ensure quality and production objectives are met.• Demonstrate health and safety involvement in all aspects of employment.• Must be autonomous, highly motivated and able to work effectively alone and on a team.• Demonstrate health and safety involvement in all aspects of employment.• Must be autonomous, highly motivated and able to work effectively alone and on a teamMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:• One year experience in M.I.G welding.
