Warehouse Helper – Job Description

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Helper supports daily warehouse operations including receiving, organizing, picking, packing, and loading/unloading of goods. This role ensures products are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently to maintain smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring products are handled safely.

Organize, label, and store inventory in designated areas.

Pick and pack orders according to packing slips or delivery schedules.

Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and yard.

Check incoming materials for accuracy and report any damages or discrepancies.

Operate pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment (if trained and authorized).

Help with inventory counts and stock rotation.

Support drivers with deliveries, pickups, and general loading assistance.

Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse rules.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous warehouse or labor experience an asset but not required.

Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Basic English reading and communication skills.

Work Conditions:

Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday.

May require occasional weekend work during peak periods.

Work involves physical labor, standing, bending, and lifting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Work Location: In person
