Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure Databricks professional with 8+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ADF PySpark and Databricks along with a strong background in Life and Annuities Insurance. This hybrid role requires excellent project management skills to drive successful outcomes in a day shift environment.
Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee project timelines budgets and resources to ensure successful delivery within scope.
  • Provide technical guidance and support in ADF PySpark and Databricks to enhance project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation to track progress and facilitate communication.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues to minimize project disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in Life and Annuities Insurance.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Monitor project performance and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings to keep all parties informed and engaged.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and methodologies.
  • Support the development of team members by sharing knowledge and expertise in relevant technical and domain areas.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong technical background in ADF PySpark and Databricks with proven experience in these technologies.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Life and Annuities Insurance with the ability to apply this expertise to project management.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Show proficiency in project management tools and methodologies to drive successful project outcomes.
