Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring that all areas are sanitized and presentable. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred.

Duties

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishments as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed in a timely manner to meet company standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Good physical stamina; must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.

Other Requirements:

  • Reliable Transportation: Applicants must have their own reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and flexibility in meeting work schedules.
  • English Understanding: Strong understanding of the English language is necessary for effective communication within the team and with clients (Its okay if english is your second language and if you're still learning
  • Previous Cleaning Experience: Candidates with demonstrated experience in commercial cleaning will be given preference.
  • Background Check: Successful candidates will undergo and pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
  • Professional Demeanor: Presenting oneself in a professional manner is essential to this role.
  • Coachability: A willingness to learn and adapt, open to receiving feedback and training to excel in the position.
  • Good communication skills are essential for following instructions and collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors.
