dedicated to supporting individuals and families in mental and emotional growth through both

traditional therapeutic services and experiential nature-based programs. Our philosophy

embraces each person's unique story and holistic development, including play and

connection with the natural world.

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable Nature Facilitator to support our outdoor programs

on weekends (with special availability during March Break). In this role, you will guide small

groups – especially children and families – through experiential nature-based activities

designed to promote curiosity, emotional regulation, social skills, and personal growth.

This is a part-time position focused on Saturday and Sunday work, with flexibility around

program schedules and required participation during March Break. Compensation ranges

from $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead and assist with nature-based activities and outdoor play sessions.

● Facilitate safe, engaging experiences that encourage exploration, teamwork, and

connection with nature.

● Support program setup, transitions, and environment maintenance.

● Observe and respond to participant needs with empathy and care.

● Communicate respectfully and professionally with families and clinic team members.

● Help ensure safety protocols and clinic standards are upheld during outdoor

sessions.

Qualifications

● Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

● Experience working with children and/or families (education, recreation, outdoor

education, or therapeutic backgrounds preferred).

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

● Positive attitude, patience, and energy for active, interactive programming.

● First Aid/CPR certificate is an asset (or willingness to obtain).

● Passion for nature, play-based learning, and supporting individual growth.

Schedule

● Saturday & Sunday availability required

● Occasional hours during March Break

● Some flexibility in start times depending on program needs
