International Medical Graduate position as a Clinical Assistant at a busy Allergy and Asthma Clinic.This is not a Medical Receptionist Position.Requirements:1) International Medical Graduate with an above average ability in the spoken and written English language.2) Evidence of a medical degree must be provided, as well as marks from any recent US or Canadian exam.Position involves the following:1) Performing skin testing to the common aeroallergens, foods and other allergies2) Spirometry – breathing tests3) Other allergy tests including: patch testing, physical urticarial tests4) Education of patient in the use of asthma inhalers, adrenaline autoinjectors and other allergy devices.5) Helping manage and other activities needed by the physicians or nurses including keeping rooms clean between patients (ie. Protection against coronavirus spread)6) Primary role: History and Physical examinations of allergy patients, and completing reports to be sent to referring physicians (under supervision of allergist). Ideally, typing speed of >60 wpm is recommended. However, allergy testing will be required as part of the position.Must be a team player and able to communicate with children and adults.Monday to Friday Part-time to full time hours (20 to 40 hours a week)Training will be provided on the job.3 months probation.Salary to be negotiated depending on training and prior skills.Please send resume with 3 references.Job Type: Part-timePay: From $19.00 per hourBenefits:On-site parkingWork Location: In person
