Position: Material Bulk Loader/Unloader

Responsibilities:

  • Safely load and unload bulk liquids to and from delivery vehicles.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Use all required safety equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
  • Uphold the highest standards for product quality and service.
  • Ensure all bulk liquids meet quality requirements prior to loading or unloading. Perform testing in accordance with company guidelines and standard test methods.
  • Adjust and monitor equipment as per prescribed guidelines.
  • Unload bulk liquids from delivery vehicles to designated storage tanks using pumps, filters, and valves.
  • Inspect delivery vehicles for cleanliness prior to loading.
  • Load bulk liquids from storage tanks to delivery vehicles using pumps, filters, and valves.
  • Complete all required shipping paperwork.
  • Ensure delivery vehicles and documentation comply with DOT, MOT, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor transfers to ensure proper quantities are moved and prevent overfilling of tanks or vehicles.
  • Monitor for leaks or spills during transfers; promptly report and clean up any incidents.
  • Assist with other material handling, warehouse activities, or duties as required.
  • Maintain inventory for bulk tanks installed at customer sites.
  • Build and access bulk tanks with accessories when needed.
  • Ensure tanker trucks are loaded and ready for next-day deliveries.
  • Act as lead hand for bulk loading on the afternoon shift.
  • May be required to offload rail cars during the afternoon shift.
  • Assist with blending operations when needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift license required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and perform cross-functional tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills (addition and subtraction).
  • Ability to work safely and follow Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to use company software and computer systems.
  • Willingness to work assigned shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience in loading/unloading large vehicles with chemicals is an asset.
