This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, utilizing mechanical and electrical knowledge, and various hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assemble parts and components according to technical specifications and blueprints
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to complete tasks accurately
- Operate forklifts when necessary to move materials within the shop
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times during assembly processes
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve workflow
Requirements
- Prior experience in custom vehicle assembly or assembly preferred
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge is an asset
- Hydraulic assembly experience an asset
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Basic understanding of shop floor safety procedures
- Ability to read technical drawings or schematics is a plus
- Prior experience with forklift operation is desirable but not mandatory
- Must be reliable and follow instructions accurately
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
