Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Junior Installer to join our team. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in various installation projects, supporting senior technicians in delivering quality craftsmanship. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and possesses a foundational understanding of construction-related skills. This position provides an excellent opportunity for career growth within the construction industry, with exposure to diverse projects including deck, and fence installations

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation of decking and fencing
  • Support senior technicians with tasks
  • Use hand tools such as drills, saws, etc and caulking guns to complete installation work
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout each project
  • Support the installation of fixtures and hardware according to project plans
  • Participate in site preparation and cleanup activities post-installation

Skills

  • Familiarity with hand tools used in construction and installation work
  • Basic knowledge of construction processes and safety standards
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in executing tasks
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions from senior team members
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Prior experience or training in carpentry or restoration is a plus but not required; training will be provided on the job

Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship
