We are searching for a Regional Dietitian to join our Allied Health Services team based in Colchester/Cumberland, Nova Scotia.
As the Regional Dietitian, travel will be required to our Amherst, Debert, Brookfield, Bible Hill and Truro locations. Travel will be compensated per kilometer.

Assists in the development of menus in accordance with therapeutic nutrition guidelinesAssesses resident's nutritional status on admission and at least semi-annually; reviews monthly weights and follows up as requiredAddresses client's individual dietary concernsEstablishes and maintains personal nutritional needs of each clientCompletes texture modification assessments on referralOversees and plans special nutrition needs for special diets, allergies and disease conditionsPresents staff and client education sessions on nutrition and other related topics based on indicators and identified needsCommunicates client nutrition care plans to clients/family/staff as appropriateCollects and enters appropriate data into databaseDocuments clinical nutrition indicators monthlyAdministers the operating budget for dietary services, overseeing the preparation of purchase orders, verification and approval of invoices for paymentAbout You
