Adanac Roofing Ltd., located at th Avenue, Langley, BC, is one of the Lower Mainland's most reputable roofing companies. With over 30 years of roofing experience and Canada's only CertainTeed Diamond certified roofing company, our clients have high expectations of our services and we always deliver on our promises. Our business is growing, and we need one Lead Roofer to join our team.

This is a full-time, permanent positions working 40 hours per week. The successful candidates will have at least 2 to 5 years of roofing experience. We work mainly in the areas of steep slope, asphalt, cedar shake, and tile roofing systems for clients (includes single & multi-family homes). You will also have experience in installation of gutters, soffit and fascia. The salary offered is $37.50 per hour. We offer medical and dental benefits after 3 months of employment.

Duties include:

  • Lead roofing crews on residential and commercial projects
  • Coordinate daily job activities, crew assignments, and site logistics
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope
  • Serve as the main on-site point of contact for management and crew
  • Read and interpret job specifications and plans
  • Ensure all work meets company standards, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Train and mentor crew members
  • Install, repair and replace roofing systems using various materials
  • Take measurements to calculate the quantities of materials needed
  • Replace damaged or rotting fascia boards or plywood
  • Install underlayment's
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed
  • Operate power tools safely and with precision

Education and Training Required:

  • 2 - 5+ years of roofing experience, with leadership or foreman experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of roofing systems and installation techniques
  • Ability to lead a team and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Must have own safety boots
  • Must have clean criminal record
  • Must be available to work overtime when required
