We are a leading company seeking a skilled Apprentice or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. If you're self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to health and safety, we want to hear from you
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform mobile truck and trailer maintenance and repairs across Nova Scotia.
- Assist with inspections and participate in our preventative maintenance program.
- Utilize computer-based maintenance and work order programs.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and pressure systems.
- Maintain a high standard of organization, attention to detail, and commitment to health and safety.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic (preferred).
- Familiarity with truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment (e.g., aerial devices, digger derricks, chippers, cranes) and construction equipment (preferred).
- Educational background in mechanics, electronics, electrical, or hydraulic systems (preferred).
- AEC/DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred).
- Canadian Utility Fleet Council (CUFC) Certification (preferred).
- Valid Class 3 Driver's License (preferred).
- Proven track record of employment, ideally in a similar industry.
- Strong commitment to quality, customer service, and satisfaction.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Flexible shifts: 8, 10, or 12 hours
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.20-$41.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
