Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload shipments safely.
  • Manage the shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP software for tracking inventory levels and order fulfillment.
  • Perform order picking tasks accurately, ensuring that all items are packaged correctly for shipment.
  • Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that all materials are stored properly within the warehouse.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and assist with cycle counting as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse distribution processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment within the warehouse.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus, with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes.
  • Experience in the equipment or automotive industries is a plus
  • Proficient in using Microsoft suite is an asset
  • Basic math skills for accurate order processing and inventory management.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for effective order fulfillment.
  • Ability to deliver shipments would be an added bonus, with experience driving light duty truck and trailer
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
