Vice President, Origination (Commercial Real Estate Lending)

$300K–$400K OTE | Fully Remote

Western Canada (flexible with location)

We are recruiting for a
Vice President, Origination
for a national commercial real estate financing platform. This is a
fully remote role covering Western Canada
, offering top-tier earning potential and strong underwriting and funding support. The business has two support staff for every single originator.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in commercial, multifamily, and construction financing, strong CMHC knowledge, and the ability to manage high-volume deal flow. You'll source and structure new mortgage opportunities, lead client meetings, oversee underwriting with the analyst team, liaise with CMHC and lenders, and drive deals through funding. This role is well-suited to an entrepreneurial originator with an existing book or someone ready to build one on a high-performing platform.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in commercial/multifamily/construction real estate financing
  • 4+ years in senior or progressive leadership roles
  • Must have
    CMHC multifamily
    experience
  • Strong financial analysis and underwriting fundamentals
  • Proven full-cycle sales/origination process
  • Excellent communication and relationship management
