As an Industrial Engineering Technician, you will support production operations by analyzing, documenting, and continuously improving manufacturing processes, work methods, and the production environment. You will work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams in a dynamic, continuous-improvement-focused environment.

On a daily basis, you will:

  • Observe, analyze, and document existing manufacturing processes and work methods;
  • Collect, compile, and analyze operational data (cycle times, yield, efficiency);
  • Conduct time studies and analyses and make improvement recommendations;
  • Create, maintain, and update technical documentation, including work instructions, production procedures, best practices, and standards;
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify improvement opportunities;
  • Participate in the standardization of workstations and production tools;
  • Support the implementation of new methods, equipment, or processes, including drafting associated documentation;
  • Develop training tools for production employees and support them during process changes;
  • Train or guide production employees on new procedures;
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement and operational performance projects.

You are the person we're looking for if you have:

  • A college diploma (DEC) in industrial engineering or another relevant technical field;
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment;
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, welding, etc.);
  • Proficiency in technical drawing software (AutoCAD or equivalent);
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and document management tools;
  • Energy and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a production setting;
  • Ability to react quickly to maintain production activities;
  • A positive attitude, viewing challenges as opportunities to excel;
  • Strong ability and willingness to improve and optimize production;
  • A natural enthusiasm for collaborative work and knowledge sharing;
  • A desire for professional growth and continuous development.
