What You'll Do:

  • Operate Class 3 or Class 1 vehicles to deliver building and farm products safely and efficiently
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure safe operating conditions
  • Load and unload materials at yard and customer locations
  • Protect customers' property during deliveries and ensure all loads are complete and accurate
  • Maintain yard and warehouse organization for accessibility and safety
  • Monitor for safety hazards and help deter unauthorized product removal
  • Support inventory control processes and assist with general yard duties
  • Perform other tasks as required by the Farm & Home Centre Manager

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in commercial truck delivery (required)
  • Valid Class 3 or Class 1 Alberta driver's license with clean driver's abstract
  • Experience in retail, farm supply, or lumber yard operations is a strong asset
  • WHMIS and TDG certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong awareness of safety standards and delivery protocols
  • Physically fit to handle manual loading/unloading and outdoor work
  • Professional appearance and ability to work as part of a team

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • No evenings, weekends, or long-haul trips
  • Hourly wage: $23.07–$29.06 depending on experience
  • Hours: 24 to 40 hours/week, based on operational needs
