Concierge

As a Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors — creating a warm and professional atmosphere from the moment they enter. You will assist with front desk operations, coordinate communication between departments, and support residents with information and daily needs. Your role is vital in ensuring that every interaction reflects the caring and respectful environment that defines Summit Heights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet residents, families, and guests with warmth, professionalism, and courtesy.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and inquiries, redirecting them as appropriate.
  • Monitor building access, visitor sign-ins, and security procedures to ensure resident safety.
  • Provide information about residence services, programs, and local amenities.
  • Assist residents with requests such as booking transportation, maintenance, or activities.
  • Coordinate deliveries, mail distribution, and package handling.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
  • Support the administrative and hospitality teams with clerical duties as required.
  • Respond promptly to resident needs, fostering a positive and caring atmosphere.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, reception, or a similar front-facing role (retirement or healthcare environment preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
