The Speech Language Pathologist serves school-aged and pre-school children with developmental and/or neurological disabilities with a range of communication and speech and language delays and disorders. The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing multi-disciplinary assessment, parent-mediated and individual and group child interventions and community consultation. Mentoring is available in all areas of practice. Therapy sessions may be conducted on-site or in the community

1. CASLPO registration
2. Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
3. Hanen certification including It Takes Two to Talk required.
4. Hanen certification in More Than Words would be an asset.
5. Minimum 2- 3 years pediatric experience preferred
6. Comprehensive knowledge of communication development, communication disorders and neurological and/or
developmental disabilities.
7. Experience in augmentative communication preferred.
8. Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to initiate and work independently.
9. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
10. Valid driver's license and access to vehicle for travel in the community.
11. Willingness to participate in criminal reference check.
12. Fluency in French will be considered an asset.
13. Must be able to obtain a valid Vulnerable Sector Screen (VSS)

Monday to Friday; days (some evening and occasional weekend work may be required)
