Full-Time Dog Groomer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and upbeat Dog Groomer who is comfortable handling a wide variety of dogs to join our team of Pet Professionals Our grooming business is growing fast and we are always looking to serve more owners and their pets.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Independently performs full grooms and grooming services such as baths, brush outs, dog & cat nail trims, etc.
• Works with our clients regarding dogs who may require extra care (e.g. nervous/anxious dogs, elderly or special needs dogs)
• Communicating with clients via in-person, email or phone
• Performs check-in and check-out procedures for grooming appointments, including applicable paperwork and rebooking.
• Maintaining a clean/sanitary work environment to ensure our clients receive the best care possible
• Follows all Company Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior grooming experience of 6 months or longer. Able to provide a portfolio of work
• Understanding of dog behaviour/body language
• Ability to use a computer
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Flexibility in schedule
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
