Flute / Clarinet Teacher

The Fantasia Academy of Music is looking for a clarinet or flute instructor, who can ideally also teach other instruments or voice. However, the ability to teach additional instruments is not a requirement.

Qualifications:

• ARCT Diploma or post-secondary music education
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience
• Patient and kind with students
• Can teach at students' locations
• Experience or knowledge of teaching online (e.g. through Zoom)
• Responsible and punctual

Assets (not required but ideal):

• Can teach other instruments/voice in addition to flute/clarinet
• Bilingual/multi-lingual - can teach in a language other than English
• Experience teaching adults as well as children

In-person lessons are taught at students' locations or the teacher's location, depending on student preference. Therefore, the teacher should be able to travel locally.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
