What you can expect to do here :
As a Project Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring the financial health and success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and executing project control plans to meet contractual requirements.
- Monitoring project financials and quality on a weekly basis.
- Identifying and addressing accruals, aging WIP/AR, and margin erosion.
- Partnering with Project Managers to resolve issues, initiate billing, and manage change orders.
- Supporting budgets, work breakdown structures, and accurate reporting of planned vs. actual performance.
- Mentoring junior and intermediate team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
- Preparing project plans including scheduling, cost management, quality, and change management.
- Coordinating with accountants and billers to ensure accurate invoicing and timely client payments.
What you'll bring to WSP :
- 3–5 years of experience in project controls, ideally in a consulting or engineering environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and address project challenges.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Power BI; experience with Horizon Oracle and SiteView is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills — verbal, written, and presentation.
- A proactive, organized team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage multiple requests with professionalism.

Compensation:
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $57,500 – $76,200
- MB & ON: $52,500 – $72,300
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $52,000 – $69,000
