The Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (the CISVA) operates 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. St. Francis Xavier is a thriving Catholic elementary double-streamed school located in Vancouver close to downtown and transit.

In addition to the curriculum stipulated by the British Columbia Ministry of Education, we have a unique component in our program – Chinese as a subject. JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dedicated educator for our Intermediate grades (Grades 4 – 7) for Interested applicants must have a strong commitment to the Catholic faith and demonstrate competency with the BC curriculum. Candidates will have experience in intermediate teaching, effective classroom management and the ability to work with students of varying abilities and needs. Collaboration skills are also of high priority. As a double-streamed school, we expect our teachers to work collaboratively with the other teacher of the same grade. The successful candidate will assist with extra-curricular programs and activities.
