Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, particularly in pediatrics and acute care settings. The Physiotherapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in a hospital environment to develop effective treatment plans that enhance patient mobility and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall function.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-management strategies.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest medical terminology and physiotherapy practices.

Requirements

  • A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid physiotherapy license to practice in the relevant state or region.
  • Strong skills in patient care with a focus on pediatrics preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and acute care practices is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
