Denture Finishing Technician

Position Overview
A full-service dental laboratory in Calgary is seeking a skilled Denture Finishing Technician to support the final stages of full and partial denture production. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented technician who takes pride in producing high-quality removable prosthetics with precision, consistency, and excellent aesthetic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Trim and contour denture bases and frameworks using appropriate rotary tools and hand instruments
Polish and finish full and partial dentures to meet clinical and laboratory specifications
Inspect all appliances for accuracy, fit, and finish; ensure they meet quality and functional standards
Collaborate with fellow technicians and supervisory staff to meet production timelines
Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient workstation
- Complete documentation for production logs, case notes, and quality checks
Qualifications
Prior experience in denture finishing or crown & bridge finishing
Strong manual dexterity and attention to fine detail
Understanding of common dental materials, tools, and workflow processes
Ability to interpret dental prescriptions, models, and technical requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $20.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience
