Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Sales Clerk to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist shoppers with their needs, and ensure the smooth operation of the sales floor. This role offers an opportunity to develop sales skills in a dynamic environment and contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system
• Maintain product displays, ensure shelves are stocked, and keep the sales area clean and organized
• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and promotions
• Handle returns, exchanges, and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and improve store operations
• Follow all safety and security procedures to protect both customers and staff

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts
• Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.84-$17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
