Journeyman Plumber

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, construction practices, and maintenance procedures. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a range of technical skills in a dynamic environment. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while adhering to safety standards . Candidates should have a strong background in mechanical systems, HVAC, and related trades, with the ability to interpret schematics effectively.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely and efficiently
• Perform maintenance tasks on HVAC systems as needed to ensure optimal operation
• Conduct troubleshooting to identify issues within plumbing or mechanical systems and implement effective solutions
• Assist with construction activities including carpentry, assembly, and system integration
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment at all times
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role with a solid understanding of plumbing systems
• Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC, maintenance, and construction trades
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installations or repairs
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively
• Valid licensing or certification as a Journeyperson Plumber preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience required
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environmental conditions
