Global Pet Foods Stellarton is hiring a Team Lead (Manager-in-Training) to help guide daily operations, lead shifts, and grow into future management.

What You'll Do

  • Lead shifts and set clear daily priorities while working alongside the team
  • Keep the team focused, on task, and aligned with store standards
  • Provide hands-on, real-time coaching and support on the sales floor
  • Deliver excellent customer service and thoughtful, individualized solutions
  • Support inventory accuracy, merchandising, and overall store presentation
  • Assist with promotions and in-store initiatives
  • Represent Global Pet Foods at local community events and outreach activities
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate regularly with senior management

  • Retail experience required (keyholder or lead experience an asset)
  • Interested in developing into a long-term leadership role

What This Role Is (and Is Not)

A leadership role with room to grow

Floor-based, people-focused, and hands-on

Not a desk job

Not a sink-or-swim management role

Not responsible for payroll or hiring

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer-focused retail
  • Ability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer tools
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Pay: $20.50-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 – 43 per week
