Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing large datasets to support business decision-making processes. The Data Specialist will play a critical role in designing and maintaining data infrastructure, ensuring data quality, and providing actionable insights through advanced analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and AWS cloud services to facilitate efficient data processing.
  • Design and implement data warehouses and databases utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other relational database systems.
  • Perform complex data analysis using SQL, Python, Java, and Bash (Unix shell) to extract meaningful insights.
  • Create interactive dashboards and visualizations with Tableau to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver scalable data solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Apply machine learning techniques to enhance predictive analytics and automate data-driven processes.
  • Optimize database performance through effective database design and indexing strategies.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards throughout all stages of data handling.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or similar systems.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL programming and database design principles.
  • Hands-on experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and AWS cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau for creating insightful dashboards.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, and Bash (Unix shell scripting).
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and frameworks for developing predictive models.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.
  • Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets accurately.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse architecture and best practices for scalable data storage solutions. This position is ideal for a motivated professional eager to leverage advanced data technologies in a collaborative environment while contributing to impactful business initiatives.
