presently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will focus on full-cycle

recruitment for the organization. This includes developing and implementing effective talent acquisition

strategies, leading the recruitment team, and collaborating with the hiring management teams in our

hospitality, construction and property management related business units to fulfill the company's staffing

needs. This role will build successful relationships with applicants and hiring management to ensure the

candidate experience exceeds expectations.

As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll get to:

  • Overseeing the full-cycle recruitment process for all workforce requirements across the enterprise.

  • Oversee onboarding process at multiple properties, as required

  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives

  • Collaborate with executive leaders to create and implement strategic workforce strategies that foresee

hiring requirements and capabilities across departments.

  • Guide and advise hiring management on all recruitment related updates and issues

  • Supervise recruitment advisors to maintain high performance standards and alignment with business

strategies.

  • Advertise career opportunities to the market in a creative and "outside the box" manner to ensure the

attraction of top talent.

  • Analyze recruitment metrics and trends, such as timeline to hire, interview volumes, strategies for

difficult roles etc for quarterly reports

  • Responsible for candidate pre-screening, interviewing, offer letters, and candidate onboarding

communication

  • Attend career fairs, recruitment events and networking opportunities as required to represent the

company

  • Demonstrates positivity and embodies the organizational culture to ensure the candidate experience

exceeds expectations

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of recruitment strategies across the organization,

including through the development of policies and procedures.

  • Monitor effectiveness of recruitment programs by tracking metrics and trends, including exit interviews,

turnover rates, timeline to hire and retention data to provide actionable insights and support decision-

making.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, or a related field; or relevant work experience

  • Experience in high volume, full cycle recruitment.

  • Ability to recruit for diverse roles within the hospitality, property management and construction

industry, is considered an asset.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Effective communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all

levels

  • A commitment to confidentiality.

  • Knowledge of employment standards and human rights legislation.

  • Effective organizational and time management skills with a focus on achieving deadlines.

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective workforce plans and recruitment

strategies.

  • Prior experience in the following industries is considered an asset: commercial real estate, hospitality,

construction, leasing, property management.
