Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Registered Psychotherapist or Social Worker. The position is based in Pickering, ON, with flexibility to perform some work remotely. Responsibilities include providing individual and relationship counseling, supporting clients through mental health challenges, and developing personalized therapeutic treatment plans. The role also involves maintaining accurate client records and adhering to ethical and professional standards in psychotherapy practice.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Psychology and Mental Health principles
  • Proficiency in Counseling and Relationship Counseling practices
  • An understanding of medicine as it relates to mental health, including treatment plans and client care
  • Registered and in good standing with a recognized regulatory body, such as the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
  • Demonstrable skills in active listening, empathy, and communication
  • Experience with diverse client populations is a strong asset
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or a related field
