Responsibilities: General Cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of all common areas including foyers, amenity rooms, underground parking garage, locker rooms, patios, and rooftops
- Knowledge and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
- Perform thorough cleaning of vacant units, including appliances, floors, walls, windows, kitchens, washrooms, and balconies, ensuring they are move-in ready
- Dust fire hose cabinets, bells and elevator tracks to minimize excess debris
- General knowledge and understanding of the safe handling of cleaning materials (WHMIS)
- Conduct yard maintenance, including picking up loose garbage around the exterior of the property, removing snow and ice, salting entrances, walkways, and rooftop walkways
- Repair of minor maintenance items (i.e. light fixtures, vents, filters, plumbing fixtures
- Monitor and clean garbage chutes, garbage bins and recycling rooms
- Collection of garbage and recycling bins in coordination with the city waste schedule
- Removal of garbage items and malfunctioning appliances
Customer Service
- Greet and interact with residents in a friendly and professional manner
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and a "can-do" attitude
- Attend to resident concerns and service requests within 24 hours
- Follow up with residents to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Handle office administrative tasks, such as processing online applications, creating notices, managing lease renewals, and other duties related to support daily operations
- Organize, promote and execute resident events (i.e. holiday parties & summer barbeques)
Qualifications
- Previous professional cleaning experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven track record of performing general cleaning duties and minor maintenance repairs
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push and move objects exceeding 50 lbs. (e.g. garbage bins, appliances)
- Ability to interact professionally with residents, team members, and contractors
- Fluent in English and French (applicable to Quebec only)
