Job Description

These positions will be responsible for the operation of the CNC machining centers.  We are currently searching for individuals who have a minimum two years' experience in CNC machining operation.  

Afternoon Shift (Monday – Friday 2:30pm – 11:00pm).

Night Shift (Sunday – Thursday 10:30pm – 7:00am)     

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the set up and operate CNC machining centres and related equipment ensuring all product is correctly machined all the time
  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run parts and sample work pieces; adhering to company standards
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
  • Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the operation of CNC machining centres
  • Must be an innovative self-starter able to work independently and co-operatively in a team environment
