Job Overview

This job is for someone who likes:

You will install permanent lights on homes.

You will measure, drill, mount tracks, run wires, and test lights.

You will also help homeowners use the phone app to control their lights.

This job is about accuracy and consistency, not rushing.

What You Will Do

  • Install permanent LED lights on houses
  • Measure and mount aluminum tracks straight and level
  • Run and secure wires neatly
  • Seal holes so water cannot get in
  • Test the lights to make sure they work
  • Help the homeowner set up the app on their phone
  • Follow company rules and install steps
  • Keep the job site clean and organized

Subcontractor Requirements **Important**

This is a subcontractor position.

You must provide yourown tools and equipment, including:

  • A truck or van (towing is a big plus)
  • Ladders
  • Drills and basic power tools
  • Hand tools for installs
  • Common install items (screws, hot glue gun, etc.)

You must also have:

  • Your own business insurance
  • Valid WSIB coverage

Requirements

  • Experience with tools or outdoor work
  • Comfortable working on ladders
  • Able to measure and follow layouts
  • Able to use hand and power tools
  • Willing to follow company steps
  • Reliable transportation

Pay

  • Pay: $50 per hour
  • Schedule: Part-time to start
  • Growth: Chance to move into full-time work
