Data Analyst - SAS and Power BI:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Data Analyst - SAS and Power BI for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client's Toronto office.

Job Description:

The role supports the newly formed Credit Card and Unsecured Lending (CCUL) Engagement Squad, focusing on engaging existing accounts through initiatives like Select Pay and balance transfers. The position involves developing dashboards, automating processes, and participating in modernization initiatives transitioning from Db2/SAS to GCP and Python.

Responsibilities:


• Provide actionable insights and recommendations on marketing initiatives.


• Analyze and synthesize large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.


• Define and size target audience opportunities with business and marketing teams.


• Deliver pre-sizing, segmentation, and response forecasting for campaign design.


• Optimize customer and channel allocation based on behavior and preferences.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and create performance tracking reports.


• Conduct pre- and post-campaign deep dives for utilization and revenue impact analysis.


• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.


• Work in agile squads to identify opportunities for improved customer experiences.


• Perform SQL coding and data manipulation.


• Support automation and dashboard development using Power BI and Excel.


• Participate in modernization initiatives, including migration to GCP and Python-based analytics.

Mandatory Skills:


• 8+ years of experience in Data Analysis.


• 8+ years' experience with large data sets and relational databases with advanced SQL skills.


• 5+ years' experience with SAS.


• 5+ years' experience with Power BI.

Nice-to-Have Skills:


• Familiarity with banking products.


• Experience with Python.


• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.


• Experience with targeted leads/campaign execution and segmentation.

Assignment Length:

This is a 12-month contract with the possibility for extension or conversion to full-time employment.
