Job Description

As a member of the Canada Life & Health Reserving team, the successful candidate will contribute to the various actuarial tasks of the department. This job represents a great opportunity for a candidate interested in gaining experience in several areas of corporate actuarial/reserving, and to be able to grasp the real impact of their work.

This role will gain exposure to a variety of functions, including IFRS17 and Solvency II reporting activities, LICAT reporting and capital management, assumption development and AXIS modelling initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience


• Bachelor's degree in actuarial sciences or a related field


• Generally 2-5 years of relevant working experience within the life insurance/reinsurance industry, although profiles with more experience would be considered based on suitability.


• Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages (eg. Excel, VBA, SQL, Python, SAS, PowerBI)

handle priorities / projects concurrently and to deliver

Nice to Have Skills & Experience


• Experience with AXIS considered an asset
