Ironworker Red Seal Instructor for Red Seal Refresher Course

We are currently looking for an experience Red Seal Ironworker ( Generalist ) / Instructor, to be able to teach a 1 week refresher certification course in Ironworker ( Generalist ) , at our facilities in Surrey.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Journeyman Red Seal Ironworker ( Generalist ) who is capable to teach this certification course.

The candidate should have Journeyman's Red Seal Certification, with at least 5 year of teaching experience in a trade school, vocational college, or a trades person currently working, or retired, and willing to teach.

This course is 40 hours long and is taught over a 6 consecutive day period in Edmonton or Calgary.

Students will be candidates who will be looking to challenge their Ironworker ( Generalist ) Red Seal Exam.

A caring and supportive approach will be required by the instructor, to ensure success to all students.

This position is contract based per course, and will be renewed for the next courses, based on outcome of the first teaching assignment.

  • Salary of $60.00 to $80.00 per hour (based on your current experience)
