**JOB TITLE: IT Support Technician
LOCATION: Richmond Hill, ON, Canada
DURATION: 6+ month contract
PAY RANGE: $23-26/hour**
Overview
We are seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician with 1–2 years of experience to support day-to-day IT operations. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who is comfortable with end-user support and has experience handling equipment shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Set up, image, and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot basic network, OS, and application issues (Windows and/or macOS)
- Manage shipping and receiving of IT equipment, including:
- Preparing and shipping devices to employees
- Receiving returned equipment
- Tracking assets and maintaining inventory records
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding (account setup, device provisioning, returns)
- Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in ticketing systems
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in an IT Support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support role
- Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory management of IT equipment
- Basic knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments
- Familiarity with common IT ticketing systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
