Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Physician for a full-time, on-site position at our Edmonton, AB location. The Family Physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services, addressing urgent care needs, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and promoting health education within the community. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver patient-focused care and to address a wide range of medical concerns for all ages.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Primary Care and Family Medicine to deliver comprehensive healthcare across all age groups.
  • Expertise in managing Urgent Care cases to address immediate medical needs and acute conditions.
  • Experience or knowledge in Community Health to support patient engagement and education related to public health issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an recognized institution, and current licensure to practice in Alberta.
  • Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is an asset.
