Journeyman Electrician (Service-Focused) – Vancouver

Akai Electric Ltd. is a Vancouver-based electrical contractor specializing in residential, with some light commercial . The focus is quality work, professionalism, and strong customer experience.

This is a service-first role. Communication and reliability matter just as much as technical skill.

The Role

  • Residential service work (troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades)
  • Strata and light commercial service
  • Customer-facing, independent service calls
  • Some small projects and follow-up work
  • Work primarily in Vancouver and immediate surrounding areas

What We're Looking For (Non-Negotiables)

  • Red Seal Journeyman Electrician(new Journeyman considered)
  • Valid BC driver's license
  • Based in Vancouver or very close (Burnaby, North Vancouver, West Vancouver)
  • Experience with service electrical work
  • Comfortable working independently in customers' homes
  • Professional, respectful, and clear communicator

  • Prefer large construction sites only
  • Dislike customer interaction
  • Are not a journeyman electrician
  • You commute from Surrey, Langley, Maple Ridge, or the Fraser Valley
