THE ROLE

Reporting to the Senior Vendor Revenue Manager, within the Accounting team, the Vendor Revenue Technician will provide valuable assistance to the Marketing team to ensure that rebate agreements and negotiated invoicing deadlines with suppliers are met. The technician will work closely with supplier revenue analysts and category managers in our various divisions across Canada.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Creation of monthly promotional discounts in our accounting system.
• Extraction of promotional discount data from the accounting system and analysis of the information in preparation for invoicing our suppliers.
• Invoice suppliers for monthly and quarterly volume discounts.
• Cheque cashing and cashiering for electronic payments received at the bank.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

We want you to join our team Here's what we're looking for:

Education:

• DEC in accounting ;

Experience:

• Two (2) years of relevant accounting or store experience;

Knowledge and skills:

• Excellent command of office automation tools such as Excel and Word;
• Be meticulous, autonomous and show initiative;
• Ability to manage priorities while respecting deadlines;

Language skills:

• Bilingualism required (Advanced French and English) both spoken and written, as the person will be required to work and communicate regularly in English while performing the tasks outlined above. Specifically, the role requires collaboration with global teams.
