Position Overview

We are currently seeking a G-Class Truck Driver to support our daily residential and commercial waste collection operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving light-duty vehicles, safely collecting and transporting waste and recycling materials in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate company-owned G-Class vehicles along designated routes.
  • Perform curbside waste and recycling pickups for residential or small commercial clients.
  • Ensure vehicle is operated safely and in compliance with company and legal standards.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of pickups, mileage, and service issues.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
  • Follow health and safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • Valid G-Class driver's license with a clean abstract.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
  • Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in waste management, delivery driving, or route-based work is an asset.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • Commercial driving: 3 years (required)
  • D class license: 3 years (required)

Work Location: In person

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
