About us

GO Liquor Store is Vernon's newest Liquor Store. We are a customer-centric business looking for the right staff to enhance the customer experience.

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier/Stock person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, ringing up purchases, handling payments, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, be able to multitask, and have a good understanding of basic math. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping customers and is committed to providing an enjoyable shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and answer their questions in a friendly manner.
  • Operate cash registers, scanners, and other related equipment.
  • Accept payments, issue receipts, and process returns.
  • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
  • Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Ability to get (or already have) Serving it Right
  • Previous liquor store (or similar) experience (preferred)
  • Must be able to work evenings & weekends.
  • Cash handling experience is required
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs repeatedly
  • Knowledge of beer/wine/spirits is an asset

This position will be two evenings a week to start with occasional extra coverage when needed.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
