Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, reliable Kennel Technician / Trainer Assistant to join our growing team. If you love dogs, enjoy hands-on work, and want to build a rewarding career in canine care and training, this is your opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for dogs: feeding, cleaning kennels, administering medication, and ensuring safe play and exercise
- Support trainers during training sessions: handling dogs, prepping equipment, maintaining a clean and safe training environment
- Monitor dogs for health or behavioral issues and communicate observations to trainers
- Assist with client drop-off/pick-up and provide friendly, professional customer service
- Maintain accurate records using facility software
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols
Requirements
- Genuine love of dogs and commitment to their wellbeing
- Previous experience working with animals (professional or volunteer) is an asset but not required—we will train the right person
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift 40 lbs, be on your feet for extended periods, and work indoors/outdoors in all weather
- Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
- Flexibility for weekday, weekend, and occasional evening shifts
