About Event Temple
Event Temple is a high-growth technology company headquartered in Vancouver, BC. As the world's leading Hotel Sales and Catering software, we've achieved the #1 ranking in the Hotel Tech Awards for six consecutive years.
Our mission is to become the world's largest, most respected sales and catering software for hotels and event venues—while empowering our customers, team, and communities with success, happiness, and opportunities for growth.
About the RoleWe're looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead design on complex product areas and help shape the future of Event Temple's platform. You'll work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success to turn real customer problems into clear, usable solutions.
This role is for someone who is strategic, hands-on, and comfortable moving fast—able to navigate ambiguity, explore ideas early, and ship high-quality work that scales.
This is a remote role open to candidates based in Nova Scotia, Canada.
- Own end-to-end design for major product initiatives, from discovery to launch
- Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into thoughtful design solutions
- Partner closely with Product Managers to define problems, shape scope, and explore solutions
- Collaborate with Engineers to ensure designs are feasible, well-implemented, and high quality
- Design complex workflows and systems, not just isolated screens
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that are clear and actionable
- Explore ideas early through rapid experimentation—prototypes, AI tools, or lightweight code when helpful
- Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability
- Use research, product data, and customer feedback to inform design decisions
- Advocate for the user while balancing speed, scope, and impact
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products (B2B SaaS strongly preferred)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design and problem-solving
- Proven experience designing complex workflows and real-world systems
- Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and helping define problems, not just execute solutions
- Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly explain design decisions
- Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g. Figma)
- Experience designing AI-assisted or automated product experiences
- Thoughtfulness around uncertainty, trust, and failure states in UX
- Front-end awareness (HTML/CSS/JS or modern frameworks)
- Comfort experimenting with prototypes, no-code tools, or lightweight code
- Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system
- Experience mentoring or guiding other designers
- High ownership and real impact on a growing product
- Close collaboration with a strong Product and Engineering team
- Opportunity to shape design culture and standards
- Competitive compensation and benefits
- Flexible work environment
- Friendly co-workers
- Building a company and being a part of a success story
Salary Range: $100,000 – $130,000 CAD annually
We don't offer relocation support for this job posting.
