Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves creating beautiful hairstyles, maintaining impeccable standards, and engaging clients to ensure a positive salon experience. The Hair Stylist will also contribute to retail sales and support front desk operations, helping to foster a welcoming environment for all clients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, balayage, blowouts, and treatments tailored to client preferences
  • Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to clients' needs and offering professional recommendations
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations
  • Upsell retail products and additional salon services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
  • Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Hair Stylist is preferred but not required; training opportunities are available for talented candidates eager to learn
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and retain clients
  • Knowledge of hair styling techniques, color application, and hygienic protocols
  • Ability to upsell retail products tactfully while maintaining a focus on client needs
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members
  • Experience in retail sales and front desk operations is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $17.60-$30.00 per hour
