Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Technician for our Niagara Falls facility. This person must have experience with concrete related quality control and be able to pay great attention to detail and be extremely thorough to join our team. The responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician include daily product conformance checks, fresh concrete testing, coordination of repairs, and other material testing.

Quality Control Technician Responsibilities:

  • Experience with product conformance checks is a must
  • Experience with creating non-conformance reports is a must
  • Coordination of deficiency repairs
  • Fresh concrete testing
  • Aggregate sieve analysis testing experience is a must
  • Identifying deficiencies in the production process
  • Mapping/creating schedules of on-going repairs
  • Coordination amongst departments
  • Must be able to read architectural blueprint drawings

Quality Control Technician Requirements:

  • Experience in a Quality Related Position
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings
  • Prior experience with fresh concrete testing
  • Prior experience with aggregate testing
  • Graduate of Engineering Technology Program Preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, time management, and coordination skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Good communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be punctual
