The RADICAL research group ) is a multi-disciplinary group which specializes in high-performance and distributed computing ( HPDC ) and its application to different science and engineering applications. The RADICAL research group is responsible for the design and development of RADICAL -Cybertools (http://radical-). RADICAL -Cybertools are both an embodiment of our research in Applied HPDC , as well as production grade tools currently being used to support research in a diverse range of fields from Computational Biology to High Energy Physics and Earth/Climate Science. The research group is funded by the US NSF and DoE and has extensive national and international collaborations. For example, the RADICAL research group is also affiliated with DOE Brookhaven National Laboratory. We have increasing ties to local industries (e.g. Google) providing additional collaborative opportunities. A listing of some of the currently active (funded) projects can be found at: including but not limited to opportunities with NSF MolSSI ) and DOE ATLAS Computing. We are currently looking for a Post Doctoral Associate with adequate background in HPDC and interested in applying HPDC to real-world and large-scale science and engineering applications. The position is available January 1, 2020 and is fully-funded for up to 3 years subject to Rutgers hiring conditions and suitable performance.
