What it's like to be a Northbridge Claims Appraiser: 

As a Claims Appraiser you will be part of a dynamic team that prides itself on having a sharp eye on detail while keeping the customer experience top of mind. Our Appraisers are responsible for reviewing and assessing the value of vehicles through photo-based estimating. They have strong attention to detail, are analytical and able to "connect the dots" in every claim they manage.

Working in a collaborative, tight-knit team, there is the opportunity for coaching, mentoring and development from our more experienced Appraisers to help grow both your customer service and problem-solving skills.

We want your talent 

if you are great at:

  • Investigating evaluating and appraising physical damage losses

  • Effectively managing a busy day to day schedule 

  • Providing a great Customer experience 

And you have:

  • Post-Secondary Education in an Insurance focused program or related program 

  • Working towards the CIP designation an asset 

  • Minimum 5 years of estimating/appraisal experience

  • Experience with Mitchell Workcentre, Mitchell Connect and Mitchell Ultramate

  • Strong technical skills with MS Office Suite 

  • Ability to clearly communicate with Claimants, Brokers, and vendors
